The Dreamcaster: Chapter 8

“Good morning, Jane. Did you have a good weekend?” asked Laura earnestly. Monday mornings were never anybody’s favorite time of the week, so she always did her best to keep not only her spirits up, but the spirits of those around her.

Unfortunately, Jane was in no mood to deal with Laura’s morning chipperness. What should’ve been a dream-like weekend turned into an absolute living hell for the “little” psychotherapist. Sarah had kept her in Little mode all weekend, never allowing her a moment of reprieve. It was nothing but kiddy shows, early bedtimes, and constant supervision. Heck, the dinner she’d cooked last Friday was the last time she’d even eaten solid food, which had the adverse effect of making her bowel movements very soft and liquidy.

Part of Jane wanted to give in and enjoy the bizarre situation that was unfolding, but another part of her was too in her own head to ever do something like that. People don’t just lose over a foot off of their height in a single night.

By the time Sunday was nearing its end, Jane couldn’t believe she was anticipating returning to work this much. However, it wasn’t like Sarah was going to make it easy for her. Of course, her loving Mommy just had to pick out her outfit for the day. She wasn’t even shocked when one of her cutesy lolita dresses was selected. With several shades of pink and a skirt that barely grazed her lower thigh, she honestly couldn’t think of a more humiliating outfit for Sarah to choose.

Speaking of Sarah, she was right on Jane’s tail as she walked across the hallway and towards her office. In spite of Jane’s insistence that she could go to work on her own, Sarah was adamant that Jane was too little to drive a car on her own. And of course, when they arrived, her wife wanted nothing more than to walk her up to her office.

“Sarah, you really didn’t need to come all this way. I know you have your own job to get to,” said Jane pointedly, hoping her wife would catch the nuance of her words.

Much to Jane’s chagrin, Sarah could only shake her head and chuckle at Jane’s suggestion, “Nonsense, baby girl!”

“SHHHHHHHH!” said Jane, pursing her lips to her pointer finger. The last thing she needed was for any of her co-workers to know about her less than adult status at home, especially with the small change that Sarah made to her undergarments today. Gone were all of her favorite pull-ups, replaced by ABDL diapers, which Jane was expected to wear 24/7 for the foreseeable future. She tugged on the back of her skirt, her hands double checking that everything was still covert.

Thankfully, it appeared that Rebecca wasn’t in yet. Jane hoped and prayed for her colleague to have zero appointments today. She wasn’t sure she could handle any teasing from her idle crush.

As they arrived at Jane’s office, Sarah kneeled down in front of Jane and grabbed her hands. From an outsider's perspective, this scene seemed more fitting for a parent consoling their child on the first day of school than a spouse sending her lover off to work.

“Okay, my everything, I’ll be waiting for you at the dropoff at 5 PM. You’ll be okay to make it there on your own?” asked Sarah, taking this whole Mommy thing way too seriously for the umpteenth time.

Forget looking like a parent parting with a child at school, it frigging felt like it too. Jane didn’t even have the energy to argue with her anymore. It was futile anyway. “I’ll be okay, Sarah.”

Pulling back her hands, Sarah stood up and placed them on her hips, “Silly girl, there’s no Sarah here right now.”

Jane blushed, understanding exactly what Sarah was hinting at. She looked around making sure the coast was clear. She then took a deep breath and whispered, “I’m fine, M-Mommy,”

“What was that, baby girl? I couldn’t hear you,” said Sarah with a booming voice, placing her hand to her ear in a mocking fashion. She really wasn’t gonna make this easy on her cherry-red Little.

Jane was mortified that Sarah would be this risky. She grabbed her by the hand and dragged her inside of the office, furious that this charade was still going on. “What the fuck, Sarah?! What if someone heard you?! Are you trying to destroy my career?!” she shouted, fed up with her adult side being neglected by her wife. As her breathing slowed, she realized she may have been a bit harsh with her words, but it needed to be said. It was as if Sarah expected her to act like a Little 24/7.

“Little miss,” said Sarah, her voice deeper than before. She turned her back to Jane and locked the office, “I think you need a little reminder of exactly who is in charge here.”

Jane stepped back from her wife, growing increasingly nervous. “S-Sarah, this isn’t funny anymore. I’m ready to stop being a baby.”

Sarah quickly closed the gap between herself and Jane, grabbing her wrist and holding it up above her head so that she was forced to stand on her tiptoes. She then proceeded to swat at Jane’s backside, landing several hard hits.

SMACK! SMACK! SMACK!

“Ouch! Sarah-OW! This needs to-OW!” Squealing and pleading for mercy, Jane was made painfully aware of her new size and strength. She truly was as helpless as an infant in her wife’s hands. Tears ran down her face as she conceded, “M-Mommy, pwease! I’m sowwy!” While she hated adding the babyish effect to her words, it did get the desired results.

Sarah’s assault on Jane’s backside ceased with her apology. Spinning Jane around, she brought her in for a big hug, saying, “I’m sorry, baby girl. You know Mommy doesn’t like to punish you, but sometimes she has to be strict.”

Fearing repercussions if she didn’t reciprocate, Jane hugged Sarah back tightly as her stomach knotted up. She was feeling small and trapped, and not in the fun way.

“Mommy has to go now. Have fun today, baby. I love you,” said Sarah as she leaned in and planted a big, powerful kiss on Jane’s lips.

For all of Jane’s anxieties about her present situation, this kiss was just too good to not enjoy. Her hands instinctively found their way around her much taller wife’s neck as Sarah lifted her off of the ground with their lips still pressed passionately against each other.

Maybe Jane was getting too worked up over nothing. Sure, the height thing was weird, but should she really be that upset that Sarah wants to ramp up the roleplaying? It wasn’t like she’d actually crossed a line yet. She could only imagine the level of utter embarrassment she would feel if anyone at work found out.

KNOCK KNOCK!

“Hey Jane, can I speak to you for a second?” said Laura, her voice barely audible from the other side of the office door.

Jane readied herself to hop down from Sarah’s arms. However, as she made her attempt to hop off, Sarah held her firmly, cradling Jane as she walked towards the door, “No need to make a fuss, baby girl. I’ll answer it for you.”

Panic kicked in quickly for Jane as Sarah neared the door. “S-she couldn’t be serious,” she thought naively. Flashes of her professional life flew through her head as if she were about to witness the death of her career.

Sarah, on the other hand, saw nothing wrong with cradling her little girl for just a bit longer. She opened the door, paying no mind to her wife’s anxieties.

The range of emotions that Laura went through when she saw Jane in her wife’s arms was long and vast. “Oh! I…uhhhh…y-your first appointment is here early…I’ll just tell them you won't be ready until the scheduled time.”

Jane couldn’t even bear to look at her co-worker. Her office life was officially over. No doubt word of this would spread throughout the office until everyone knew. “T-Thank you, Laura. That will be fine,” she said with her face buried into Sarah’s shoulder.

“Of course!” asserted Laura, perhaps a bit too fast for Jane’s liking. However, instead of promptly turning to leave, she couldn’t help but linger in the doorway, “And uh, Jane…you don’t have to worry. I won’t mention to anyone that you’re having problems.” With those words she dipped out of the office, leaving Jane to cling to her mommy-wife while she blushed harder than she ever had in her life. She didn’t need to look back. She had been so caught up in the moment that she hadn’t even felt the breeze on her lower back. The way Sarah was holding her left nothing to the imagination when it came to her current undergarments, and now Laura was fully aware that she was thickly padded.

“Such lovely friends you have here, Sarah! Maybe you and that little cutie could have a playdate some time,” cooed Sarah as she rubbed Jane’s back. Set rounded Jane’s desk and plopped her little girl down in her seat. “Time for Mommy to get going. Bye-bye, baby,” she said as she kissed Jane on the cheek and left to go to her own job.

Now alone for the first time since the weekend had started, Jane let out a heavy sigh of relief. The past few days had been non-stop, so she took surprising comfort in how adult her office was. She’d half expected to see a decked-out nursery when she had arrived. Still, while she was thankful to discover no changes on that front, she still had to deal with several new issues, the biggest of which was her chair.

Despite being the very seat that Jane had sat in for several years now, she was embarrassed to find how much it swallowed her up. A constant reminder of her new shortie status. She pulled herself up to her desk, finding it too tall to work off of now.

With burning cheeks, Jane walked over to the couch in her office and grabbed the pillows to use as a booster. And while it did have the desired effect, she felt like a kid in a booster seat with how high up her feet were from the ground.

“At least I can work now,” Jane muttered as she powered up her computer. She had half a mind to open up Discord and vent to her pal, PrincessCB, but she’d had enough teasing for one day already, and no doubt that little brat would only add fuel to the fire.

Instead, Jane laid her head down on the desk, closed her eyes, and enjoyed a moment of peace. Today was going to be a very long day.
